Default SWCG for vinyl lined pool with steel walls?

I have a vinyl lined pool constructed using 3' steel panels behind the liner and concrete under the bottom. Is it OK to use a SWCG system with this type of pool or is the risk of corrosion too great?

What about the heater? I have a Hayward 300K BTU propane fired heater about 5 years old. Are these OK with the salt?

    Thanks for the help.

    Steve, welcome to The Forum!

SWCGs are fine with IG liner pools and all the normal pool systems

Get the model, and call Hayward, and ask. (888-HAYWARD). Or not. You're past warranty, and the salt will slightly increase corrosion of a plain copper heat exchanger, but not dramatically.
