    Default Carpenter ants

i live in the woods. There's a lot of carpenter ants. I have an in ground pool with a vinyl liner that I' getting replaced after 16 years. Is it a good idea to have an insect control company put insecticide for carpenter ants in the soil before the liner goes in. It was done 16 years ago.
    Thanks

I don't know, but I do know that ants can eat holes in liners and flex PVC, hunting for water.

So, if you have lots of carpenter ants, I would *guess* the answer should be, "Yes!".
