OK had MY PH and alk down but I never can keep chlorine in it. I can put a double daily dose of the 62% granulated chlorine per the "Kiddie Pool Chemical Shopping List" and calculator and it never shows up on my HTH test so I give it 3/4 cup of bleach and that works but it is gone the next day

Do you have any idea what your CYA level is? Without CYA in an outdoor pool, it is impossible to keep chlorine in a pool. Do you have a test kit?

Please fill out the information in the following chart. It will help us better to be able to help you.

Also, we suggest getting a good kit. The one we recommend is the Taylor K-2006 or 2006C which you can get through the testkit page in my signature.
