Default 500 Gallon hot tub with swcg

Hot tub by Hot springs SWCG. They just fixed it. Love the hot tub. I was having issues with not enough chlorine now the chlorine is produced is way too high. I've lowered the settings on the size of the spa from 8 to 5 and usage level from 5 to 3 and it's still too high. I reset the whole spa. I also added a cup every day of peroxide to cut the chlorine levels. BTW I just refilled the spa after the levels made the salt test turn orange.

What could be wrong that the chlorine levels keep going off the charts?

    Thanks.

The Pool Forum doesn't really do too much with spas or hot tubs. You might want to post your question over at www.poolspaforum.com. One of our support team members, Waterbear, is a moderator there.

    Good luck!

Edit to fix link as I had it named incorrectly.

I assume you have an Ace saltwater system from Hot Springs on your tub. As watermom said, you will get more info over at www.poolspaforum.com since it has a very active hot tub section and there are seveal Hot Springs experts over there that are very familiar with the Ace system (since it is slightly different than swimming pool SWCG systems).
