    Angry Automatic Pool Vacuum

We have a cement based pool that gets algae on the bottom all the time!!!! Any recommendations on an automatic pool vacuum. Please help. We have gone through 2 vacuums and both were horrible.

I can't help you with a recommendation for an inground vacuum, but we can help you keep from getting algae all the time. Why don't you start a thread in the algae forum and give us some current water testing results taken with a drops-based kit (no test strips). Also, tell us exactly what all you have added to the pool meaning ingredients and not just 'shock.' Also, fill in your pool's info in our pool chart which will make it easier for someone here to help you.

Then, we'll try and help you figure out why you keep getting algae. (And, hopefully someone will come along with a vac suggestion for you as well.)

    Welcome to the Pool Forum!
