Should I lower my pH?

Hi, I posted throughout June trying to get my water clear and we've had a beautiful July. Someone was just at our pool last night and said, "Your water is SO CLEAR!" It felt great so thanks again for your help!

I checked the full levels last night and not sure if I need to lower the pH

TC: 8
pH: 7.8, perhaps 7.9ish
TA: 150-160

Last I checked CYA was hanging out at about 60

Your pH is ok but if it goes to 8.0ppm, I'd use some muriatic acid to lower it. (Info about muriatic acid in the link in my signature.)
