New Member Pool Info
Hello all, we purchased a home on the Gulf Coast recently with our first pool. I think it is about 23,000 gallons. It is a 'dog leg' shape, (rectangle, bent in the middle) in-ground with a vinyl liner. It's 3 feet deep in the shallow end and 8 in the deep end, with rounded corners. It is about 15' wide and 35' overall.
My chlorine level has been testing at 5 ppm using a Taylor kit. The PH, though, has been at about 7. I/m considering adding some Borax based on what I've read here. I'll do a full test on the water tomorrow and post my results.
