Pooldoc/ben

I will take reading when I get home from work. I was asking about upgrading my filter that comes with the pool because I don't think they are very good. So I was looking to upgrade to just have a better pump/filter instead of using the one that came with the pool. So you gave me two choices hayward and perflex do I need both or should I pick one?
