in a 13000 gallon pool how many ppm will a gallon of common bleach raise the chlorine level?

That depends......What is the concentration of the "common" bleach? Is it 3%, 6%, or 8.25%? All are available depending on where you buy it.

Each quart of 6% bleach will add about 1ppm of chlorine to the pool. Take a look at the link for the bleach calculator in the Forum Q & A section in Ben's corner at the top of the forum. Very useful.
