    Default pool filtration

    hello everyone,
    i am new to the forum but need serious help...i recently opened my pool after 4 years. i got a new pump and started the shock process. everything was going great until i started to vacuum the bottom. so i thought i clogged the pipe from skimmer to pump but blew that out and it bubbled like crazy in the skimmer. my problem is the pump is running but not pulling new water from skimmer??? what can i do to figure out the problem?

    My pump is no longer pulling water from the skimmer. What can be the problem?

    What kind of filter do you have? Have you backwashed or cleaned the filter?
