Default Ground or Sand Have to be Level Under an Intex Pool?

Stupid question I'm sure... but here goes.

Installing a used AG and wondering if the ground has to be exactly level first (it is almost level), or if the sand can make up the difference.

IOW, do I have to level both the ground and the sand, or just the sand? Thanks for the help

One of the most common reasons we see for Intex pool failures is un-level ground. It's quite important to get the pool very level -- not more than 1 - 2" out of level from side to side.

Sand is a problem. It tends to shift and move, and when you use sand to level under the pool, your pool becomes un-level when the sand shifts. Small amounts of sand, to filling small holes or divots is probably OK. Otherwise, it's not the ideal material for leveling a pool area.
