thank you so much CarlD! i left the floater in there so i should pull it out as well huh? i kinda figured i had it in shock with all the mix and too much chemicals and it kinda locked up my chlorine from doing anything so i figured my best bet was to stop it all and start over with bleach and borax. will get right on those tomorrow and update.
