Default Chlorine levels in a 10x30" Summer Escapes

I recently bought a summer escapes 10ft by 30 in 1100 gallon AB pool for my 6 month pregnant wife and had some questions. Pool is setup and filled yesterday and running I bought the 1 inch chlorine tablets that the filter is designed for and test strips. I put 1 tablet in filter last night and checked the tablet today, it is not fully dissolved and I got a white( no chlorine ) reading on test strip this morning. Should I add another 1 inch tablet or wait for this one to dissolve than test again?

When do I know when water is safe for my wife to go into? This is my first pool, any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!!!

Read the Super Simple recipe page -- it will probably answer most of your questions (including some you haven't asked yet )
