Old Aqua Rite Electronic Chlorine Generator

Hi...I have a Aqua Rite t-cell and a local pool supply told me to disconnect the T-cell from the circuit board before adding salt to the pool. The last few times I added salt the panel started giving me crazy salt readings - indicating I over salted the pool - not the case.

Now the circuit panel appears to have failed as it only displays a "0" and doesn't generate any sale.

Any similar experiences?
