New to pool system and maintenance

I read a lot of information on this site and decided to join to get more answers and interact better, with others. I have a roughly 16,500gallon pool and I live in South Florida.

Tell us more about your pool, and we recommend everyone get a good test kit. We recommend the Taylor Technologies K-2006 or K-2006C available by clicking on the link in either PoolDoc's or Watermom's signature. To be a little technical, the FAS-DPD test for Free Chlorine and Combined Chloramines is the best chlorine test by far.
