Default Re: Pool Chemical Brands to Avoid and to Prefer, 2018

    I did some checking today.

The problem with the major pool chem companies making a mess of their product offerings is WORSE than it was a couple of years ago.

There are some decent products hidden among the heavily marketed garbage, but the only way to find them is to
    1. Know how to decipher chemical labels.
    2. Know actual chemical names and terms (like "calcium hypochlorite" and "% available chlorine")
    3. Adopt a skeptical and untrusting attitude toward pool chemical companies, even 'trusted' brands like Clorox!

    Good luck.
