With great numbers like that, your water must look really good. .5CC is fairly common and does not indicate a serious issue. It may get to 1.0 or higher during the Summer and I'd shock then to get it back down.

Also, keep an eye on your ph. You don't want it to go any lower. If it does, add some Borax to get it back to range. I like 7.4-7.6, but anywhere 7.2-7.8 is OK.
