    HUH? It sounds as if you are saying not to use Clorox or liquid chlorine, that it will damage my vinyl pool.

    Using bleach will not hurt your pool. It is the only thing I have ever used and I also have vinyl. Pour it slowly into your skimmer while the pump is running. It will quickly be dispersed and diluted and won't be a problem. Welcome to the forum!
