I agree with Carl and Janet. Also, keep an eye on your pH. You're ok at 7.2 but you don't want it to go lower. And, welcome to the forum! Glad you found us!

I did raise the Ph to 7.6 with borax and dumped in a shock dose of bleach. I guess I'll be trekking to my local hardware store more frequently for 10% chlorine. Their price on the 10% is low enough that it's a wash whether I use that or the 6% from Wal-Mart.

This is a great forum. I'm glad I found it. It has saved me money and frustration over the last couple of years, so I finally decided to jump in (pun intended).
