    Bumping this up to see if anybody can help Terry. The only idea I have, if you don't have the manual that came with the unit and I assume you don't, is to go look online at their website to see if you can find out something. Good luck.

    First get the salt level correct in the pool. Take a water sample to the local pool store that Does not test with test strips, and have them test it for salt (salinity). Once that is done, then see if you still have the codes. 186 and 172 are sensor fault codes. If the codes persist, the sensor will need to be replaced.

    Best price will be somewhere on-line, compared to the local guy.
